This light and nongreasy sunscreen cream applies to wet skin without whitening. Very rapid excited state quencher SolaStay® S1 provides Avobenzone photostabilization and Sunspheres™ Powder boosts sunscreening performance while HallBrite® BHB provides sunscreen solvency and emolliency. In vitro analysis delivered SPF ~ 65, PFA (PPD) ~21 broad spectrum performance with critical wavelength 379 nm.

1 | To a secondary vessel add phase A, start mixing and add phase B. Heat to 55°C and add phase C and mix well. |
2 | To the main vessel add phase D, start mixing and add phase E items one by one with strong mixing, mixing for 20 minutes or until a smooth dipsersion is achieved. |
3 | When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, slowly add phase ABC to phase DE with prop mixing. |
4 | When the emulsion is fully formed (white and thickened; 20 minutes or longer, as necessary) start cooling. |
5 | When the batch is below 50°C add phase F items one by one with mixing. |
6 | Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature, replacing any water lost to evaporation and mixing until smooth. |
