This formulation yields a superior broad spectrum (SPF/PFA <<3) sunscreen lotion. SolaStay® S1 and SolaStay® P1 are incorporated to mitigate the photocatalytic and reactive oxygen species generating activities of Titanium Dioxide and to rapidly and efficiently quench the excited states of Avobenzone. This product was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~70, PFA (PPD) ~40 and 5 Stars UVA/UVB (0.93 – 0.91) performance with critical wavelength 381 nm.
