Sunscreen SPF 50 Lotion

This sunscreen lotion formulation is designed to provide U.S. broad spectrum (critical wavelength ≥ 370 nm), label SPF 50 performance. SolaStay® S1 contributes to photoprotection through stabilization of this Titanium Dioxide-based formulation by mitigating the photocatalytic and reactive oxygen species generating activities of the oxide to improve sunscreen performance. Olivem® 1000, the first PEG-free self-emulsifying biomimetic multifunction ingredient, and botanically-based HallStar® GMS Pure provide the basis for a stable emulsion. HallBrite® BHB, Sensolene® and Biochemica® Matcha Green Tea butter are included to enhance spreadability and contribute to elegant emollience. This formulation was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~54, PFA (PPD) ~7 broad spectrum performance with critical wavelength 374 nm.
