BB Cream with SPF ~33, PFA (PPD) ~18 Sun Protection

This BB cream provides light coverage, sun protection and anti-aging benefits. Eurol^® BT provides anti-irritation, anti-inflammatory, hydrating, moisturizing, skin elasticizing and anti-oxidant effects. SolaStay^® S₁ provides photostabilization for Avobenzone. With continued use, this product is designed to deliver an improved appearance to skin showing the adverse effects of chronological or premature aging. Anti-aging benefits may include smoothing away wrinkles, decreasing the number of fine lines, evening out rough areas and restoring a natural color and tone to the skin. SPF and PFA are in vitro estimates. Critical wavelength = 382 nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE

1	To a secondary vessel add phase A ingredients, start mixing, then add phase B ingredients to phase A with continued mixing.
2	When phase AB is uniform, add phase C to phase AB. Continue mixing and heat phase ABC to 85°C and then phase D, in order.
3	When phase ABCD is homogeneous, add phase E and mix until well dissolved.
4	To the main vessel, add the Water from phase F and dissolve Disodium EDTA with continued mixing.
5	Once Disodium EDTA is dissolved, add Xanthan Gum, stirring until fully incorporated and then begin heating phase F to 80°C.
6	When both phases are homogeneous and at temperature, slowly add oil phase ABCDE to water phase F with prop mixing.
7	Homogenize for 3 minutes and then return to center mixing and continue cooling.
8	When batch is less than 50°C, add premix phase G and continue mixing.
9	Add phase H ingredients, in order, with continue mixing until fully incorporated.
10	When completely smooth and cooled, perform final quality assurance checks.
