A broad spectrum SPF 50 sunscreen cream. Extremely rapid exicited state quencher SolaStay® S1 is incorporated to photostabilize Octinoxate and Avobenzone and mitigate the photocatalytic and reactive oxygen species generating activities of the oxide. One person in vivo testing yielded static SPF 55 in a Korean lab. In vitro SPF 55, PFA 18, performance with critical wavelength 377 nm.

1 | To a secondary vessel add phase A and start mixing, add phase B and heat to 80°C. |
2 | Add phase C into phase AB, mixing well until all are dissolved. |
3 | To the main vessel add the Water and Glycerin of phase D, start mixing and add remaining phase items in order. |
4 | When solids of phase D are fully incorporated, heat phase D to 75°C. |
5 | When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, slowly add phase ABC to phase D with mixing. |
6 | Start homogenizing batch and after 3 minutes, resume center stir mixing and start cooling batch. |
7 | When batch is below 45°C add phase E ingredients one by one with mixing. |
8 | Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature, replacing any water lost to evaporation and mixing until smooth. |
