This oil-in-water sunscreen lotion provides broad spectrum sun protection. HallBrite® BHB (Butyloctyl Salicylate) in HallBrite® EZ-FLO TDX contributes a very good dispersion for Titanium Dioxide. This formula was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~60 and PFA (PPD) ~23 performance, with critical wavelength 379 nm.

1 | To the main vessel add liquids of phase A, start mixing and disperse solids with strong mixing for 20-30 minutes. |
2 | Heat dispersion with gentle mixing to 75°C, add phase B in phase A and mix until dissolved. |
3 | To a secondary vessel add phase C, start mixing and heat to 80°C. Add phase D and mix until uniform, and add phase E. |
4 | When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, add phase CDE to phase AB. |
5 | Strong mix ABCDE for 3 minutes and then cool batch. |
6 | When batch is below 50°C add phase F with mixing, replace any water lost and mix until smooth. |
