Hydroglycolic-Based Deodorant Stick Base

This simple unfragranced deodorant stick base yields sticks with good application and wear properties.  Vegetal-derived Propanediol allows twice the amount of water used in traditional Propylene Glycol-based sticks. HallStar^® PEG 400 ML (PEG-8 Laurate) improves stick aesthetics.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE

1	Add phase A to main vessel and heat to 95°C with mixing.
2	When phase A becomes a clear solution add phase B.
3	When phase AB is a clear solution, cool to 90°C, add phase C and stop heating.
4	When the batch is clear and at 75-80°C, transfer product to packaging and allow to cool to room temperature.
