Lightweight Non-nano ZnO Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30

This globally-accepted, lightweight, non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen with SPF 30 uses only highly-dispersible HallBrite® EZ-FLO ZDX to provide good UV protection without any whitening.

The formula was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~33, PFA (PPD) ~12 performance with critical wavelength 378 nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE

1To a secondary vessel add phase A and start mixing, heat to 80°C, and then add phase B. Add phase C before combining with water phase.
2To the main vessel add the Water and Glycerin of phase D, start mixing and add remaining phase items in order.
3When solids of phase D are fully incorporated, heat phase to 75°C.
4When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, slowly add phase ABC to phase D with prop mixing.
5After 5 minutes start cooling batch and when batch is below 50°C add phase E items one by one with mixing
6Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature, replacing any water lost to evaporation and mixing until smooth.
