A broad spectrum SPF 30 baby sunscreen lotion using ony non-nano mineral UV filters. Natural oils disperse zinc oxide and contribute to favorable esthetics. This composition was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~31, PFA (PPD) ~12 performance with critical wavelength 379 nm.

1 | To the main vessel add phase A, start mixing and add phase B items in order. |
2 | When phase B is fully incorporated heat phase AB to 75°C. |
3 | To a secondary vessel add phase C, start mixing and heat to 70°C. |
4 | Add phase D to phase C, mixing until well dispersed. |
5 | When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, add phase CD to phase AB while homogenizing. |
6 | Continue homogenizing phase ABCD for 3 minutes, then switch to center-stir mixing and cool batch. |
7 | When batch is below 50°C add phase E items with mixing, replacing any water lost and mixing until smooth. |
