| 1 | Place phase A into main vessel. Heat contents to approximately 70°C while mixing. |
| 2 | Add phase B to phase A, make sure mixture is homogeneous and then immediately cool to obtain best results. |
| 3 | Be careful not to expose flavor to prolonged periods of heating. |
| 4 | Cooling rate should be rapid (preferably using a heat exchanger) to obtain the smoothest lip balm. |
| 5 | Fill product into tube or tins and immediately place into a cool room for 24 hours. |
| 6 | Lip balm formulas differ in feel and hardness; variations may be made by changing the ratio of butters to oil to wax. |
