1 | To the main vessel, add phase A and adjust its pH to 6.8-7.2 with phase B. |
2 | Add phase C to phase AB and heat phase ABC to 80-85°C. |
3 | In a separate vessel, add phase D and start mixing. Then add premix phase E to phase D. |
4 | Heat phase DE to 85-90°C while mixing to uniformity. |
5 | When both phases are homogenous and at temperature, slowly add phase DE to phase ABC with continued mixing. |
6 | Try to avoid air bubble entrapment and begin cooling with continued mixing until slightly above temperature at which it remains a fluid. |
7 | When the batch is uniform and at the desired filling temperature, perform final quality assurance checks. |
