A broad spectrum sunscreen lotion of very light, sprayable consistency that meets U.S. and Southern Common Market UV filter requirements. This formula was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~35, PFA (PPD) ~15 performance with critical wavelength 375 nm.

1 | To the main vessel add the Water of phase A, start mixing, add the remaining phase A ingredients in order, and heat to 70°C. |
2 | To a secondary vessel add phase B, start mixing, add phase C, heat to 70°C, and then add phase D. |
3 | With both phases at 70°C, add phase BCD to phase A with stirring. After mixing for 5 mins, start cooling and homogenize for 3 minutes. |
4 | Continue mixing with cooling. At 50°C or lower, very slowly add phase E, and mix for 20 minutes. |
5 | Combine and add phase F, then add phase G. When batch is at 35°C or lower, add phase H with mixing. |
6 | Replace any water lost to evaporation and mix until smooth. |
