CoVera™ products are obtained from the hand-filleted fresh leaves of mature Aloe barbadensis Miller plants. This plant is commonly called Aloe Vera or “true Aloe.” This line offers both water and oil soluble forms, with Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juices available at concentrations from 1X liquid to 200X powders to meet specific needs in the manufacture of various beauty and personal care products.
CoVera SFO is whole leaf Aloe barbadensis extract prepared using Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil as the extracting solvent. It is a slightly yellow oily liquid with characteristic vegetable odor, suitable for use in nonaqueous formulations such as massage oils, suntan oils, hairdressings and ointments.
CoVera™ Dry is derived from plantation-grown Aloe barbadensis Miller. Commonly called Aloe Vera, CoVera™ Dry represents a 199-fold concentration of the gel. This powder form of CoVera™ is designed for use in manufacture of various personal care, health and pharmaceutical products where the high moisture content of the single strength liquid form can present formulation problems.
CoVera™ ETD is derived from plantation-grown Aloe barbadensis Miller. CoVera™ ETD represents a 199-fold concentration of the gel. This coarse powder form of CoVera™ is designed for use in the manufacture of various personal care, health and pharmaceutical products where dusting or clumping of the fine powder form (CoVera™ Dry), or the high moisture level of the single strength liquid form (CoVera™), during manufacture present formulation problems.
